Pieter Du Bruyn’s passion for carpentry began in childhood and has grown into a trusted and respected business now proudly based in Ballito. In 1994, at just 19 years old, Pieter moved from Johannesburg to the South Coast, gaining valuable experience at a small furniture manufacturer. Soon after, he launched his own venture from his parents’ garage. By August 1995, the business expanded with the purchase of its first manufacturing machines, including a panel saw and edging machine. Petrus Mvuna joined as a labourer and has since grown into a key role, overseeing smooth factory operations.
Two Oaks also includes an interior decorating division, expertly managed by Pieter’s wife, Linda Du Bruyn. The Two Oaks team features Linda, who manages administration and finance; Yvonne Köstlin, head designer; Samantha du Preez, second designer and receptionist—collaborating closely with clients to design their dream spaces—and Carl Nolte, the lead installer, supported by a dedicated fitting team.
All cutting and assembly of cupboards is completed by the skilled in-house workshop team, ensuring quality from start to finish.
While Two Oaks undertakes many contract projects, the company remains focused on delivering personalized solutions tailored to individual client needs. Advanced 3D renderings and customized layouts help clients visualize their perfect design.
